Kids Primary School Starter privacy policy

Last updated:

Kids Primary School Starter is a learning app for young children on iPhone and Android. It does not collect any personal or device data. This policy explains exactly what the app does and does not do.

Who we are

IOVA LTD makes and publishes the app. For privacy questions or requests, email info@iova.co.uk.

No data collected

  • No accounts: there is no sign-in, registration or profile, and the app never asks for a name, email address or age.
  • No analytics or tracking: the app contains no analytics, crash reporting or tracking software, and does not use the advertising identifier.
  • No advertising: the app shows no ads and contains no ad software.
  • No permissions: the app does not use the camera, microphone, location, contacts or photos.
  • No sharing: nothing is sent to us or to any third party. There is no chat and no way for children to share content.

What stays on the device

The app saves learning progress (completed lessons and quiz results) and settings (language, translation on or off, and whether the optional upgrade is active) only on the device, so a child can continue where they left off. This information is never transmitted and is removed when the app is deleted.

Purchases and the parent area

An optional upgrade is sold through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google handle the payment under their own privacy policies; we do not receive names, email addresses or payment details. The purchase screen, parent settings and all links that leave the app are behind a parental gate.

Children

The app is made for children. Because it collects no personal information, it is designed to meet the requirements of the UK GDPR and Age Appropriate Design Code, COPPA in the United States, and the App Store and Google Play rules for children's apps.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data. We hold no data about you or your child from the app, but we are happy to answer any question: email info@iova.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
